A fake nose stud is the easiest way to try a nose piercing: no hole, no needle, just a small clip around your nostril. From a round stone to a rose or a sprig of leaves: every style has a detail on the outside and a ball on the inside that keeps it in place. All nose studs come in gold and silver and cost €7.95.
What is a fake nose stud?
A real nose stud sits through your nostril with a post. Our fake nose stud doesn't. It's a U-shaped clip: the decoration sits on the outside, the tiny ball on the inside. Together they clip around the edge of your nostril. Nothing goes through your skin, and it comes off just as quickly. All nose piercing clips at a glance
- Stone: the classic fake nose stud. One round, clear cubic zirconia stone of 3.55 mm in a smooth setting. Choose the stone clip in gold or in silver.
- Heart: a smooth, shiny little heart. Small and sweet. Choose the heart clip in gold or in silver.
- Rose: a finely detailed rose of about 5.6 mm. Choose the rose clip in gold or in silver.
- Bar: a slim bar, 1.35 mm wide, with a row of tiny cubic zirconia stones that runs along the edge of your nostril. Choose the bar clip in gold or in silver.
- Leaves: a sprig of leaves about 6 mm wide that curls over your nostril. Some of the leaves have a cubic zirconia stone. Choose the leaves clip in gold or in silver.
Which nose stud suits you?
Looking for a fake nose piercing with a stone that's as low-key as possible? Then the stone is your best pick: from a distance it looks just like a real nose stud. The heart is just as small, but without the glitter. Want a bit more detail? Go for the rose. The bar is sleek and modern, and the sprig of leaves is the biggest and most boho of the bunch. How to put on a nose piercing clip
- Hold the clip with the opening facing your nose.
- Slide it around your nostril: the ball goes inside, the decorated part outside.
- Press it gently and it's on.
- Feels loose? Squeeze it a little tighter, very carefully. Pinching? Bend it open just a touch.
Left or right is up to you; the clip fits around both nostrils. Take it out when you sleep or work out, and keep it in the white NONPIERCED box it comes in. More steps on how it works.
Pairing: stud plus ring
A nose stud looks great solo, but you can double up too. Wear a clip on one side and a ring on the other, or put them together on one nostril. You'll find rings under fake nose rings.
