How a fake nose piercing stays in place
Nothing goes through your skin. You clip it around the side of your nose, and there are two ways that works.
The U-clip
This is the stud look. The clip is U-shaped, with a small ball that sits inside your nose and a decorated part on the outside. Keep the opening towards your nose, slide it around the side of your nose and press it gently into place. Feels loose? Very carefully squeeze it a little tighter. Pinching? Bend it open a tiny bit.
The open ring
Gently open the ring a little with your fingers. Place it around the side of your nose so the opening sits inside your nose, and softly push it closed again. Don't squeeze hard. Then turn it until the prettiest detail is at the front.
The smooth ring works differently. It has a small spring: pull it open by the little plate, place it around your nose and let go. It clips itself shut.
Stud or ring: what suits you?
It mostly comes down to how noticeable you want it to be.
- Stud (clip): from a little distance it looks like a real nose stud. Subtle and neat, with a stone, heart, rose, bar or sprig of leaves.
- Open ring with a detail: more playful, with a heart, butterfly, star or moon at the front. These rings also fit on your helix, the thin top edge of your ear.
- Smooth ring with a spring: the basic. The 8 mm sits snugly around your nose, the 10 mm is the classic size and sits a bit looser.

Gold or silver, left or right
